#PROTO1: Sonnet fountain pen, gold plated Grain d'orge, with gold trim, amber colour tassie insert, this is a non-working appearance prototype model. One of a kind. Nib is stainless steel made to look like 18 ct duo-tone. Year: 1992. Condition: very good except a very small dent in the barrel and some black paint missing from nib feed. Special features: This nib is shorter than production nibs and shows side cut-outs that were not implemented; the tassie insert is amber colored.

#PROTO02: Sonnet fountain pen, gold plated fileté, gold trim. This is non-working appearance prototype model. One of a kind. The nib is marked 18 ct but is gold plate on stainless steel. Year: 1992. Condition: Very good, small mark on nib point. Special features: the nib and feed are made from prototype tooling.

#PROTO04: Inflection fountain pen, matte grey sputter. Gold trim. Non-working appearance prototype model stainless steel un-marked. Ca: 1999. Condition: Very good. The cap is permanently attached in cap-on-back format, it does not come off; the front-end design is cleaner than the production design, heavy barrel band, no edge band on cap – all differentiating features omitted in production.

The cap is permanently attached in cap-on-back format, it does not come off; the front-end design is for an unknown writing technology, like a fine stylus.

One spot on brass tassie. This was for a Duofold update that was not implemented; the tassie and front end point are made from unplated brass, the clip is from production.
