alcolm Troak started working for Parker in Newhaven back in 1953 as a toolmaker, and after a long service to the company he retired in 1993 as a group manufacturing Director. He was also a local historian who wrote several books, including "Pen to paper, the story of Newhaven's pen factory". While Mr. Troak was working as a group engenieering manager he was relocated to the factory in Janesville for three months in 1982, and during that time he visited the Parker factories in Brazil and Argentina. He also visited the Parker factory in South Africa in 1987.

Malcolm Troak passed away in October of 2010, at the age of 77, just months after the Newhaven factory had been shut down and the production moved to France. |
